Jason Wu is a favorite. The elegance, color and details tend to speak to me and work with many personal styles and body types, but often the prices of his colorful elegance does not work for our budgets, until yesterday. As of Monday, Miss Wu by Jason Wu launched a 40-piece collection and sold exclusively at Nordstrom. Unlike fast fashion collaborations between high-end designers at Target and H&M, you will actually want to wear these pieces. Nordstrom executive vice president of designer merchandising said it well, “This collaboration has an appeal not just to a younger set of women, but to a broader set of women and at prices that are approachable. What’s great is that while feeling different from the Jason Wu signature collection, it still clearly has Jason’s design DNA.”
Indeed, with the clean shapes and bold prints, Jason Wu is clearly present in the utterly fabulous feather patterns and retro-sporty-preppy-chic appeal many of the garments embody.
