Novica is a website that features handmade handbags designed by talented men and women from Peru, Brazil, Thailand, and India — to name a few of the places. With so much designer bag mania, it’s refreshing to see stylish purses made by artisans from around the world.
I recently ordered a handle handbag made of cotton, leather, and bullhorn. The quality and look are great. I chose this purse because of its stunning pattern and unique grip. The designers of the purse, Giuliana and Carmen, chose to embody the legendary art of the Shipibo people of the Peruvian Amazon when they created this orange purse with ornate black lines and carved handles.
The website is full of hundreds of handmade handbags ranging from soft leather hobos to jeweled evening clutches. Although some of the purses are not exactly chic with their hippy-esque qualities, their expansive selection has something for everyone’s personal style.
