PearlParadise.com's President and CEO Jeremy Shepherd has provided the most rare and highest-quality pearls of any other online seller, so I have read. Beginning last week the new, truly round, Metallic Freshadama freshwater pearls will be available in the U.S. for the first time via PearlParadise.com. These exotic pearls vary in size from 6.5 to 9.5 mm and range in color from gold to copper and exhibit an intense, natural metallic luster.
PearlParadise.com has partnered with one of the largest producers of freshwater pearls in China to separate out the rare metallics. Chinese workers spend hours collecting these pearls, which are culled from harvests at hundreds of different farms.
“These pearls represent state-of-the-art culturing, despite the fact that no one knows how they are created, and I am glad we are able to bring beautiful pearls, with luster similar to the top-of-the-line Japanese and Tahitian pearls, to the public for the first time,” said Shepherd. “At prices a tenth of their saltwater counterparts, we expect our first offering of Metallic Freshadamas to sell out quickly.”
This November, PearlParadise.com will begin a pre-Christmas promotion of 500 Metallic Freshadama strands. These metallic round strands will be priced at between $190 and $1,200 depending on the pearl size. Once the initial offering sells out, Shepherd intends to put 200 strands on sale a month until supplies are depleted.
