Skin Smoothing Body Exfoliator by Belli for Pregnant Women… Or Not

31-orig

The new product I tested this week is Belli’s Skin Smoothing Body Exfoliator. It felt luscious going on, made my skin feel smooth and I took great pleasure in the smell of peppermint in the shower. I didn’t even notice until after I had used it on my body that this product is meant for pregnant women. Standing in a stream of warm water I read the back label:

“Some common skincare ingredients are absorbed into your bloodstream, where they can pass into the baby’s circulation. Belli PREGNANCY is the only line in the world that teratology screens each ingredient to help guard against birth defects. Every product is allergy tested and free of artificial dyes and parabens. I created Belli collection to keep my wife and baby safe. Now I want to share our science with you.”

Practically made me cry in the shower and I’m not even pregnant. At least I hope not, but no matter your fertile state the Skin Smoothing Body Exfoliator is a body scrub rich in anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients that unclogs pores all over the body. The components work together to revitalize the skin and reduce the signs of aging. Works for me.

It is always fabulous to see health inspired products on the market. Good ‘ol Dr. Rubin.

My product reviews are my honest and personal opinion. I never accept payment for product reviews although I am given the sample to keep. If I am sent something that is unimpressive or boring I don’t write about it.

Leave a note for Vanessa.

  1. Hi Vanessa, this is my first visit so hello! 🙂 I was just commenting on another site of a St. Ives product that I used to use on my hair that had peppermint in it and I just loved it. Made my hair an scalp feel really clean and me invigorated so it’s nice to read a review of another product with peppermint in it. I will have to add it to my wish list. I am not pregnant either..lol, but I am sure that just makes it all the better for you. Take care!
