Yes we turn
to the runways to see fabulous clothing, but I am more interested in street
fashion than any runway. For this reason, I adore Style.com’s early fashion
update from The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Coachella
celebrated its tenth birthday and kicked off the summer concert season this
weekend. Photographer Linlee Allen was there to capture the crowd, and the
outfits (think fringe, florals, Union Jacks, even fur!) were just as eclectic
as the lineup, which included the Killers, Paul McCartney, Franz Ferdinand,
and—performing for the first time since giving birth two months ago—M.I.A.
The labels and brands worn the most? Vintage, Vintage, Vintage and of
course a mix of High end and Low end: H&M, Tory Burch, American Apparel,
Gucci, Urban Outfitters, Tom Ford, TopShop, Rory Becca… I am just mad about a
good mix of brands. The result are unique if not fabulously stylish looks.
