Now is the time to shop the sales. My goodness, they are luscious. Items that are never on sale, are on sale, and there are some side-tickling prices. The self-help memes say there are silver linings to everything and this is it my friends — literally, there is a fabulous silver skirt by Tibi on sale. Even my all-time favorite Rag + Bone blazer is on sale right now in army green and camel, and my favorite Good American jeans are also discounted.
Shop The Best Deals
Department stores are teaming up with their favorite brands to bring these unusual discounts of 25-30% off new merchandise. The most shocking deals right now are the discounts on items that usually sell out before they get reduced. I am talking Christmas-worthy reductions on coveted items. As for the bits that are expected to be on sale around this time, well their prices are dropped even further. And in some cases, it’s not so much the price that is exciting — it’s that your size is not sold out.
How To Shop The Sales
It’s easy to get carried away with so many yummy things on sale. If you feel like shopping further after scanning my recommendations, I suggest you make a list of things you have been wanting before you get lost in a sea of sequins and sleeves as you shop the many, many sales. What are you actually in need of? More tops? Pants? Dresses? Gifts for friends? Your shopping list will help you from getting overwhelmed as you browse all of the amazing sales. My personal shopping list is all about stylish loungewear and flattering sleepwear. Plus, I am always on the hunt for statement pieces. If I am going to be seen in public, I want to be SEEN. Obviously, my public outings are limited, but I need my bi-monthly trips to the grocery store and my sunset walks to be mood-elevating, to say the least.
In sum, I recommend focusing on what you actually need, luxury buys and basics, like a leather jacket. And I think we all need new pajamas. There are a few of you who are making their sleepwear, their day wear. If you are one of them, let’s at least elevate this 24/7 garb to enhance your working from home style.
